Comments: This region of Cassiopeia has a pervasive veil of dust. It has darker knots of the molecular cloud, such as LDN 1325, but most of the dust is diffuse. It can be seen here as a slight grayish haze in the stellar background. This dust has caused some blue extinction making the open cluster a slight magenta hue.
